For Shanghai Tang’s Spring Summer 2008 Campaign we travelled to Madrid to shoot a futuristic campaign with Eugenio Recuenco. The days were long, the set was inspiring as for the food…delicious.
Our model was a young new face called Liu Wen who quickly went on to become the most in demand Asian model in the World shooting campaigns for H&M, Victorias Secret, Calvin Klein, Roberto Cavalli, Coach as well as the first Asian model to be given an exclusive cosmetics contract by Estee Lauder.
In 2012, The New York Times named her “China’s first bona fide supermodel”.
